Tours to Yamal

The Yamal Peninsula is located in the north of the Western Siberia. This is not only a center of the oil and gas production but a region where quite easy to meet reindeer herders, get acquainted with their lifestyle. The capital of Yamalo–Nenets Autonomous Okrug is Salekhard city which is just 3 hours flight from Moscow.

Salekhard is a modern beautiful city with good hotels and restaurants. In local restaurants you may taste northern cuisine: venison, stroganina and many other dishes. Just 70 km far from the city nomads live. We can go there by snow mobiles, trecols (special off-road vehicles) or helicopter. In the reindeer herders' camp you will see their daily life, ride on a reindeer sled, see the ritual reindeer's slaughter.

In Yamal you may fishing in summer and in winter time. We organize fishing tours with rafting for individual groups.
