14:00–16:00 Salekhard city tour:

• Obdorsky Burg. Obdorsk (the former name of the city of Salekhard) is one of the oldest towns in Siberia. The architectural complex in the open air was made in compliance with all the rules of architecture in the Russian Empire of the XVI century and without a single nail. The wooden fortress erected on the bank of the river tells the story of the development of the Russian North and the development of the city.

• The church in the name of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was built according to the design of the German architect Gottlieb Zinke. This is the only surviving religious building of the XIX century in Salekhard and the surrounding area, reflecting the history of the spread of Christianity in Siberia. This temple is an architectural monument of regional importance.

• Visit to the stele of 66th Parallel, presentation of certificates of crossing the Arctic Circle.

The 66th parallel stele is a landmark, a geographical feature of Salekhard, as the only city in the world straight on the Arctic Circle.

• The sculptural composition «Mammoth», dedicated to the ancient inhabitants of the North – mammoths.

16:00 Visit to the Museum and Exhibition Complex. This is the most important museum in Yamal, which houses a unique exhibit well preserved in the permafrost – the mammoth Lyuba, which actively travels around different countries with the museum's exposition and gathers thousands of people in the leading museums of London, Sydney, Hong Kong and other cities of the world. The ethnographic hall presents exhibits related to the culture and life of the indigenous people of the North, and in the hall of archaeological finds you can get acquainted with the history of the famous first Russian Arctic city – Mangazeya.

• Acquaintance with the life of a modern chum worker in Yamal. Women have an equally important concern – making a house for the whole family. To make a house means dressing, processing, smoking reindeer skins, from which nyuks are then sewn (a coating for a chum). Providing dresses and shoes to the whole family is also a woman's concern. A lot depends on how warm and comfortable the malitsa for men and the yagushka for women will be: after all, you can’t joke with a 40-degree frost in the tundra ...

Tourists have an opportunity to take an active part in the daily life of reindeer herders, prepare firewood for the stove, check the sleds, chop and bring ice, which will then make the excellent tea.

12:30 Lunch in the chum.

• Departure to the herd on snowmobiles with trailed sleds or on TREKOL, depending on where the herd will graze. A whole sea of ​​reindeer greets guests with a click of their hooves. Some deer treat unexpected visitors with distrust and caution, while avki – deer that were raised in the chum, near people, run to people in the hope of a favorite treat – a piece of bread! All deer are different, each has its own name and purpose in the herd, this one is an excellent riding bull with quick legs, but that big one often brings white calves. Here, the whole life of a person is subject to the rhythm of reindeer life...

17:00 Dinner.

18:00 Departure back to Salekhard (by TREKOL).

19:00 Returning to the hotel.
