Day 1. Arrival to Moscow

Day 2. City tour of Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel.

City tour of Moscow. During the tour we walk through the most attractive areas of Moscow: Red Square where is located Lenin's Mausoleum and St. Basil's Cathedral with its famous multicolored domes built according to the order of Tsar Ivan the Terrible.

Nearby is the famous Bolshoi Theater, the imposing building Lubyanka, Russian KGB and beautiful churches of the old district Kitay Gorod.

You will discover the majestic Cathedral of Christ the Savior of the Patriarch of Moscow, which is considered the highest Orthodox Church in the world.

Day 3. Visit Kremlin and Alexander Gardens

Visit Kremlin. It is the old fortress called Kremlin, was built in the XII century. Even now, all the major organs of political and religious government are located on its territory. In the grounds of the Kremlin are represented monuments of six centuries each of which left their mark on the architectural image of the Kremlin. Day 4. The Memorial Museum of Astronauts. Radisson Cruise

Day 6. Peterhof Park. The Fortress of St. Peter and Paul

Excursion to Peterhof Park. Peterhof, also called the «Russian Versailles» was the main summer residence of the Tsars. Located on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, about 25 km from the city of St. Petersburg, is one of the main attractions in the old imperial capital. It is a vast complex including the Grand Palace and the park, several smaller palaces and pavilions scattered in the beautiful gardens. You can find 150 fountains and three waterfalls, the colorful «water games» and golden statues of incomparable beauty.

The Fortress of St. Peter and Paul. It is the historical and architectural center of St. Petersburg. It was the first building of the city founded on May 27, 1703 is considered the date of the founding of St. Petersburg.

In the territory of the fortress is the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, which became the Pantheon of the Romanov family, when in 1998 in a side chapel of the Cathedral buried the remains of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II and his family. Excursion to Pushkin. Catherine Palace and Park. The small town of Pushkin, located in 30 km, south of St. Petersburg, was named in honor of the greatest Russian poet. Formerly called Tsarskoye Selo, or «Village of the Tsars».

It is one of the most beautiful imperial residences, Catherine's Palace, whose name is dedicated to the wife of Peter the Great, Catherine I. It was a favorite place of Catherine II the Great, with its incomparable Amber Room, entirely covered with Baltic Amber. Hidden to visitors for nearly a century, it has been completely restored in 2003, to mark the Tercentenary of St. Petersburg.
