Day 1. Arrival in Irkutsk. City tour of Irkutsk

Arrival in Irkutsk by morning flight from Moscow.
Meet a driver and local guide in the airport.
Transfer to a hotel Imperia 3*. Check-in.
City tour of Irkutsk: wooden houses, churches, Znamensky Monastery, main streets of Irkutsk, theatres and many other historical sights.
Lunch in a local restaurant with tasting dishes of Siberian cuisine.
Visit the Decembrist`s museum.
Return to a hotel.

Day 2. Irkutsk – Listvyanka village

Breakfast.
Full day excursion in Listvyanka village and surroundings.
10:00 Meet with a guide in a hotel lobby.
Excursion to Taltsy open-air museum of wooden architecture, situated 23 km from Listvyanka.
Stop at the observation deck to see famous Shaman Rock.
Lunch in a local restaurant at the shore of the lake, tasting Baikal cuisine.
Excursion to Baikal museum to see the flora and the fauna of lake Baikal. Baikal fish and fresh water seals nerpas live here in big aquariums.
Chairlift to the top of Chersky Mountain. You can see southern part of lake Baikal, the source of the Angara river and Khamar Daban mountain range from the view point.
Walking tour to Krestovka village to see Saint Nicolas church.
Return to a hotel in Listvyanka Krestovaya Pad 3*.

Day 3. Listvyanka – Port Baikal – Circumbaikal railway – Irkutsk

Breakfast.
Transfer to the pier to take the ferry and go to Port Baikal settlement.
Arrival at Port Baikal village. Boarding a train, 1 st class carriage (mountain view).
Departure for full day excursion by Circumbaikal railway. During excursion you`ll have 3–4 stops to visit galleries, tunnels, to walk in the forest.
Lunch or lunch box will be served in the train.The train always goes on Baikal shore and you`ll admire beautiful landscapes of the lake.
Arrival in Irkutsk railway station in the evening.
Transfer to a hotel Imperia 3*.

Day 4. Irkutsk – Olkhon Island

Transfer to bus station. Departure by public bus to the Olkhon island – the biggest island of lake Baikal, located 300 km from Irkutsk.
Arrival in Khuzhir village.
Accommodation at a Nikita Bencharov`s guest house.

Day 5. Cape Khoboi

Breakfast.
Departure by UAZ (Russian off-road minivan for 8 persons) at the Khoboi cape.
Khoboi cape is the northern point of the Olkhon island, it is a very picturesque place where you`ll see a beautiful view on the central part of lake Baikal. If the weather is good you`ll see Ushkany`s islands and peninsula Saint Nose.
Picnic in the open air.
Return to the camp.

Day 6. Day for the rest

Free day. You can join boat excursion to Ogoi island or go to excursion to the local Regional museum and Shamanka Rock (extra payment) – sacred place of buryat people, Saraisky bay where it is possible to swim and take sunbath, Buryat homestead (extra charge).

Day 7. Olkhon Island – Irkutsk

Transfer to the ferry by uaz minivam. Departure by ferry to the Skhurte village.
Transfer to Irkutsk.
On the way excursion to the buryat village: visit to the Local Regional museum and meeting with shaman.
Lunch at local café (traditional buryat meal).
In the evening arrival in Irkutsk. Transfer to a hotel.
Overnight in a hotel Imperia 3*.

How to get there
The tour starts in Irkutsk, it's 5–6,5 hours by flight from Moscow.Aeroflot, S7, Ural Airlines and others operate daily direct flights from Moscow to Irkutsk.
Also it's possible to get Irkutsk by train (3 days).
