Lake Baikal is beautiful in every season of the year. We invite you to visit lake Baikal in winter to see picturesque landscapes: tops of mountains covered with snow, boundless white spaces, transparent and clean ice, hummocks, snow-covered forest. During this trip you`ll have a possibility to discover Irkutsk, Listvyanka village, Cicumbaikal Railway, try dog sledding riding, Russian troika and snowmobile riding, to ski and to skate on lake Baikal ice.
Route: Irkutsk – Circumbaikal Railway – Listvyanka village – Irkutsk.

Day 1. Arrival in Irkutsk. City tour of Irkutsk

Arrival in Irkutsk by morning flight from Moscow.
Meet a driver and local guide in the airport.
Transfer to a hotel Irkutsk City Center 4* / hotel Imperia 3* located in the city center. Check-in.
City tour of Irkutsk: wooden houses, churches, Znamensky Monastery, main streets of Irkutsk, theatres and many other historical sights.
Lunch in a local restaurant and tasting dishes of Siberian cuisine.
Visit the Decembrist`s museum.
Return to a hotel. Rest.

Day 2. Irkutsk – Circumbaikal railway – Port Baikal – Listvyanka village

Early breakfast.
Meet with a guide in a hotel lobby.
Transfer with guide to the Railway to start fascinating trip by tourist train on Circumbaikal rail road*.
Arrival at the railway station, boarding in the first class carriage and departure.
During excursion you"ll have 3 stops to visit galleries, tunnels, to walk in the forest and at lake Baikal shore. The train always goes on Baikal shore and you"ll have a possibility to admire beautiful landscapes of the lake.
In the evening arrival at the village Port Baikal.
Departure by ferry to the village Listvyanka.
Accommodation at hotels Baikal 4* / Krestovaya Pad 3*.
*Train excursion can be changed on excursion by hovercraft on Circumbaikal railway.

Day 3. Listvyanka village

Breakfast.
Full day excursion in Listvianka visiting, we continue to discover lake Baikal in winter.
Stop at the observation platform to see the famous Shaman Rock.
Lunch at local restaurant at the shore of the lake, tasting dishes of famous lake Baikal fish omul.
Then excursion at the Baikal museum to see the flora and the fauna of lake Baikal.
Visit by chair lift to the Mountain Chersky where a beautiful view opens at the south part of lake Baikal and the source of the Angara river.
Walking tour at the village Krestovka with visit to the Saint Nicolas church.
Return to the hotel.

Day 4. Dog sledding in Listvyanka village

Breakfast.
Dog sledding on a distance of 10 km with lunch picnic at the forest. It is a fascinating trip at lake Baikal in winter.
After dog sledding free time to ski, to skate on Baikal ice or to ride on snowmobile (supplement service).
Return to the hotel, rest.

Departure from Listvyanka village to Irkutsk.
On the way visit to the museum of wooden architecture Taltsy.

The tour starts in Irkutsk, it's 5–6,5 hours by flight from Moscow.Aeroflot, S7, Ural Airlines and others operate daily direct flights from Moscow to Irkutsk.
Also it's possible to get Irkutsk by train (3 days).
