Day 1. Arrival in Irkutsk. City tour of Irkutsk

Arrival in Irkutsk by morning flight from Moscow.
Meet a driver and local guide in the airport.
Transfer to a hotel Imperia 3*. Check-in.
City tour of Irkutsk: wooden houses, churches, Znamensky Monastery, main streets of Irkutsk, theatres and many other historical sights.
Lunch in a local restaurant and tasting dishes of Siberian cuisine.
Visit the Decembrist`s museum.
Return to a hotel.

Day 2. Irkutsk – Circumbaikal railway – Port Baikal – Listvyanka village

Breakfast.
Meet with a driver in a hotel lobby.
Transfer to the railway station of Irkutsk to start excursion on Circumbaikal Railway in a tourist train.
Train goes along Trans Siberian railway from Irkutsk train station to Slyudyanka town without stops. Circum Baikal railway starts from Slyudyanka. Train speed is about 30 km/h. There will be 4 stops en route to see galleries, tunnels, bridges, viaducts, to walk in the forest and at lake Baikal shore.
Lunch or lunch box will be served in the train.
Railway goes along Baikal shore.
Arrival in Port Baikal settlement in the evening.
Crossing the Angara river outlet to Listvyanka village by ferry (10–20 minutes).
Transter to a hotel Krestovaya Pad 3* in Listvyanka, check-in. Overnight.

Day 3. Listvyanka village

Full day excursion in Listvyanka village and surroundings.
10:00 Meet with a guide in a hotel lobby.
Excursion to Taltsy open-air museum of wooden architecture, situated 23 km from Listvyanka.
Stop at the observation deck to see famous Shaman Rock.
Lunch in a local restaurant at the shore of the lake, tasting Baikal cuisine.
Excursion to Baikal museum to see the flora and the fauna of lake Baikal. Baikal fish and fresh water seals nerpas live here in big aquariums.
Chairlift to the top of Chersky Mountain. You can see southern part of lake Baikal, the source of the Angara river and Khamar Daban mountain range from the view point.
Walking tour to Krestovka village to see Saint Nicolas church.
Return to a hotel in Listvyanka.

Day 4. Listvyanka village – Irkutsk – Ulan-Ude

Free time in Listvianka for visiting souvenir and fish market or having time at leisure at lake Baikal shore.
14:00 Departure to Irkutsk in the afternoon.
Arrival in Irkutsk, visit central market and shops.
Dinner at city restaurant and transfer to the train station in the evening.
19:50 Departure by train # 362 to Ulan-Ude. Overnight at the train.

Day 5. Ulan-Ude

06:17 Arrival in Ulan-Ude, capital of Buryatia, in the early morning. Meet a driver and a local guide, transfer to a hotel.
Breakfast.
City tour of Ulan-Ude. During city tour you`ll see the historical center of Ulan-Ude: Soviet square with Lenin head monument, Ballet and Opera Theatre, Odigitrievsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church.
Lunch in city restaurant to taste dishes of buryat cuisine.
Excursion to the Ivolginsky Datsan located 25 km from Ulan-Ude.
Return to your hotel.

Day 6. Ulan-Ude

Departure for excursion at the Old Belivers’ village located 30 km from Ulan-Ude.
You`ll know the life style of Simeiskye peoples who represent ethnic group. You`ll see houses with wooden decoration, rare icons, old furniture, listen to the choral singing, visit to a local family with lunch.
Return to Ulan-Ude.

The tour starts in Irkutsk, it's 5–6,5 hours by flight from Moscow.Aeroflot, S7, Ural Airlines and others operate daily direct flights from Moscow to Irkutsk.
