Transfer to Chibit village.

On the way visiting Karakolsky natural park «Uch Enmek». We will get acquainted with the traditional dwelling of Altai people – ail. During the excursion, we will learn about different types of traditional dwelling of the indigenous people of Altai, as well as its internal material and spiritual components.

Going to the largest collection of petroglyphs in Siberia «Kalbak-tash». It's possible to see the whole life of ancient people in these drawings on the rocks. The age of drawings is 1000–5000 years. This unique archeological monument of the Altai Republic was a sacred place for the peoples living here at different times. Now the complex counts about 5 thousand rock drawings of different epochs.

We will also make a stop at the confluence of the rivers Chuya and Katun.

Excursion to the Altai Mars – a real miracle of nature. Unreal landscapes and color. High mercury content in the rock gives it a reddish hue.

On the way we visit the Geyser Lake – the «earth's eye» of unique turquoise color. From time to time «geysers» come to life, throwing to the surface a mixture of bluish clay and sand, forming numerous circles on the bottom of the lake.

Returning to Chibit village, rest.

Today we'll have real off-road adventure! A trip by an off-road car up a mountain to the height of more than 3000 meters above sea level. From the top you can enjoy stunning views of the snow-covered North-Chuysky ridge and the Kurai steppe.

Today we will go to the Stone Mushrooms.

The road passes through Katu-Yaryk pass – one of the most technically difficult passes of the Altai Mountains, and one of the most beautiful. You will see the incredible valley of the Chulyshman river.

Descent into the valley on foot (3 km).

After lunch we will take a walk to the stone mushrooms – these are natural rock formations in the Chulyshman valley. They are stone columns with a «hat» – a natural wonder.

Today we will have a trekking to Uchar – the largest cascading waterfall of the Altai Mountains and one of the most amazing sights of the Altai Reserve. The height of water fall is about 160 meters.

Today we will get acquainted with the Teletskoye Lake. It is one of the largest water reservoirs in Southern Siberia. More than seventy big and small rivers flow into the lake. We will take a ferry ride together with cars from the south to the north of Lake Teletskoye.

Overnight stay at the tourist base in the village of Artybash.

Transfer to the Chemal village. On the way we'll visit the National Museum of Altai Republic named after A.V. Anokhin. The museum is the oldest cultural institution of the Altai Republic and presents collections on ethnography of Altaians and Russian Old Believers.

Visiting the Chemalskaya hydroelectric power station.

Walking along the picturesque trail along the steep rocky bank of the Katun river, on the way we will see the place where the Chemal river flows into the Katun.

Then we will go to Patmos Island, which is located in the middle of the Katun River. It is connected with the big land by a suspended pedestrian bridge. On the island there is a nunnery and the church of St. John the Theologian.
