A highly informative, rich, and diverse tour with visiting the most remarkable tourist attractions of Kamchatka in a short time.
In this tour you’ll visit such unique places as active volcanoes Mutnovsky and Avachinsky, which are considered to be the most beautiful volcanoes of Kamchatka. You'll have a sea trip along Avacha Bay and the Pacific Ocean. During rafting at the Bystraya river tourists will observe wild nature of Kamchatka: brown bear, salmon motion at rivers, birds.
In optional tours for extra charge it's possible to visit the unique and wonderful Valley of Geysers or to see the Bears of Kuril Lake.
You're expected to have kaleidoscope of emotions and bright impressions from Kamchatka region!

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrival to Kamchatka

Meeting in the airport, transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (25 km).
Transfer to the hotel. On the way photo-stop near the famous monument «The Bears // Russia Begins Here».
Accommodation in the hotel. Short rest.
About 17:00–18:00 trip to the shore of the Pacific Ocean. Khalaktyrsky beach with black volcanic sand. Walking along the shore you can enjoy the purest sea air, saturated with ozone and feel the power of the harsh ocean, which seems to be called «Pacific» by mistake.
Return to the hotel.

Day 2. Boat trip to Avacha Bay, fishing

Boat trip with fishing to Avacha Bay (5–6 hours in a combined group).
Observing nesting places of sea birds, Babushkin Kamen Island, Three Brothers Rocks.
Moving to the Pacific ocean to Starichkov Island.
Sea fishing for drabfish, sea bass, and flounder (fishing rods provided for everyone).
Lunch with fish soup, crabs and other seafood.
* Possible to change for Sea cruise to Russkaya Bay: chance to meet sea lions, whales (additional payment from 8000 rubles per person / 10 hours – price of season 2025).
Returning to the hotel, rest.

Day 3. Ascent to Gorely Volcano. Transfer to the Paratunka resort area

Breakfast, check-out from the hotel.
Transfer by car across the plateau of Vilyuchinsky and Gorely volcanoes to the foot of Gorely volcano (90 km).
On the way stop at the brook Silver Key, at the foot of the Vilyuchinsky volcano (with a view of the waterfall) and at the pass with panoramic views of the surrounding volcanic expanses.
An easy climb to Gorely Volcano (1829 m): moving along the lava flow, cinder fields, inspection of 3 craters with lakes (about 5–6 hours).
Meals: lunch-boxes, hot tea.
Transfer to the Paratunka resort area (50 km).
Accommodation at the tour camp, rest.
Bathing in swimming pool with hot thermal water (hot springs).

Day 4. Ascent to the crater of Mutnovsky Volcano. Trekking walk to the Dachnye Springs

Breakfast.
Transfer across the plateau of Vilyuchinsky and Gorely volcanoes to the foot of Mutnovsky volcano (60 km).
Today we plan trekking excursion (2–3 hours) to the Dachnye fumarolic mud boiling springs, tourists call this place «Small Valley of Geysers», with inspection of active fumaroles, mud siphons and a mountain lake.
During the walk, you will see the famous geothermal power station located on the slope of Mutnovsky Volcano, which has been supplying electricity to the settlements of Kamchatka for several decades.
Also it is possible to visit the «Snow Leopard» waterfall on the Spokoyny Creek.
Meals: lunch-boxes, hot tea.
Returning to the tour camp, rest. Bathing in swimming pool.

Day 5. Optional helicopter excursions. Alpine camp «Avachinsky»

Today it is possible to take part in optional helicopter excursions*:
– helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers and the caldera of the Uzon Volcano, including flights around Karymsky Volcano (1486 m) and Small Semyachik Volcano (1560 m). The tour includes walking excursions, bathing in the natural hot springs of Zhupanovsky and lunch.
– helicopter excursion «The Bears of Kuril Lake».
* Booking must be made at the time of tour reservation.
In the evening transfer to plateau located between Avachinsky and Koryaksky Volcanoes (45 km).
Accommodation in a base alpine camp Avachinsky. Overnight in lodges for 4 pax.

Day 6. Ascent to Avachinsky Volcano. Transfer to Petropavlovsk

Breakfast.
Ascent to Avachinsky Volcano (2749 m). The ascent – 6–8 hours, the descent – 2–3 hours.
During the ascent, in good weather, stunning views open up of the surrounding volcanoes and panoramas of Koryaksky Volcano, the Nalychevo Valley and the expanses of Avacha Bay with the surrounding settlements. At the summit you will see steaming fumaroles and hardened lava, which in some places is still warm.
Descent to the camp. Dinner.
Transfer to Petropavlovsk city by all-terrain vehicle .

Day 7. Rafting on the Bystraya river

Driving to the Bystraya river (120 km). Beginning of rafting on floatable rafts. It takes place among grand mountain ranges. The nature is virtually unspoilt. The river has some rapids but rafting is secure for beginners.
Dinner cooked on fire.

Day 8. Rafting

Rafting on the Bystraya river (2 rapids). During rafting you can fish, pick some mushrooms and berries, and watch birds and wild ducks, and many other animals. If you are lucky enough, you’ll see a bear or a Steller’s sea eagle. It makes the rafting very interesting.

Day 9. Arrival at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The final day of rafting (1 rapid).
Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (170 km). On the way stop in a village Sokochi where you can taste famous local pies with different stuffing (paid on spot).

How to get there
The tour starts in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, it's 9 hours by flight from Moscow.Aeroflot and Rossiya airlines operate daily direct flights from Moscow to Kamchatka. You can get to Kamchatka with connections on S7 Airlines and Ural Airlines.
