We invite you to make a trip by hovercraft to the biggest and the most beautiful island of lake Baikal – Olkhon Island. During your travel to the island you`ll visit many famous places of lake Baikal:

Peshanaya bay, Krestovsky cape, Sagan-Zaba bay. On Olkhon Island you`ll have excursion to its northern point – Khoboi cape and meet with a buryat shaman who`ll tell you about life style of buryat people and shaman rituals. 


Route: Irkutsk – Listvianka – Peschanaya bay – Maloye More (Small Sea) Strait – Olkhon Island – Listvianka – Irkutsk.

Season: February – March.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrival in Irkutsk. Listvianka village

Arrival in Irkutsk by morning flight from Moscow.

Meet with guide. Transfer to Listvianka village, located 70 km from Irkutsk.

On the way visit to the museum of wooden architecture Taltsy.

Arrival in Listvianka village, аccommodation at the hotel Krestovaya Pad 3*.

Lunch at local restaurant to taste some dishes of lake Baikal fish – omul.

Visit to the Baikal Museum where you can see exhibits which present the flora and the fauna of the lake, you'll see also seals of lake Baikal: mother and her daughter.

Visit to the observation platform located on the top of Chersky Mountain where beautiful view opens at south part of lake Baikal and source of Angara river.

Free time and leisure.

Day 2. Listvianka village – Peschanaya bay – Olkhon Island

Breakfast early in the morning.

Transfer to the pier. Departure by hovercraft to the Olkhon Island, the biggest and the most beautiful island of the lake Baikal.

On the way you'll have a stop at the picturesque place – Peschanaya bay located 70 km from Listvianka and famous by its stilted trees and the biggest quantity of sunny days. You'll walk at the bay to see the Rock Malaya Kolokolnya, Bolshaya Kolokolnya, caves.

Lunch at the open air.

Visit to the Krestovsky cape and Sagan Zaba bay located 160 km from Listvianka where you can see the petroglyphes.

Arrival at the village Khujir, island Olkhon, located 300 km from Irkutsk.

Accommodation at hotel Nabaimar guest house / Nikita Bencharov`s guest house located on lake Baikal shore at picturesque place (room with shower and toilet).

Day 3. Olkhon Island – Maloye More (Small See)

Visit to the sacred place of buryat people – Chamanka Rock.

Trip by hovecraft to the Small See, between the western coast of the island and east coast of lake Baikal and to the cape Khoboi with lunch.

Day 4. Olkhon Island – Zolotaya Orda Ethnopark – Irkutsk

Transfer to Kurkut area by Uaz, 1 hour drive. Meet with other driver and departure to Irkutsk.

On the way stop in Zolotaya Orda Ethnopark. Buryat performance and lunch.

In the afternoon arrival in Irkutsk and short city tour of Irkutsk.

Check in at hotel Imperia 3* in Irkutsk.

How to get there

The tour starts in Irkutsk, it's 5–6,5 hours by flight from Moscow.
Aeroflot, S7, Ural Airlines and others operate daily direct flights from Moscow to Irkutsk. 
Also it's possible to get Irkutsk by train (3 days).

Meals

During the tour you'll be provided by meals with dishes of Baikal cuisine according to the program: breakfasts in hotels + lunches.

Meals not included in the program is paid on spot.
