The city history is rich in glorious events. The round-the-world expeditions of La Perouse, Charles Clark and Krusenstern came here and they all were met with a warm hospitality. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is a city of military glory. During the Crimean War in 1854, the defenders of Petropavlovsk successfully pushed back the superior forces of the Anglo-French squadron. You will learn this and much more during a city tour with an experienced guide.

14:30 A walk along the Halaktyrsky beach.

Foamy wave caps, black volcanic sand, iodine-soaked sea breeze are waiting for you at Halaktyrsky beach. This tourist attraction point is located literally half an hour's drive from Petropavlovsk. Feel the huge positive energy of the ocean, take exclusive photos, just walk along the seashore.

09:00 Transfer to the foot of the Avacha volcano.

The Avachinskiy volcano (2751 m) is one of the most active volcanoes in Kamchatka. It is often called «home volcano» among Kamchatka’s people. Its crater is filled with hardened lava above which you can see rising clouds of fumaroles.

The tour starts from the base camp which is situated at 890 m above sea level. The distance between the city and the base camp is about 50 km.

11:30 A walk to Mount Camel (7 km).

! TAKES PLACE IN THE ABSENCE OF SNOW ON THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN

An hour and a half walk to Mount Camel (named so for its external similarity) is possible for people with any physical fitness. The weather changes at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level every 15 minutes, clouds, fog, bright sun.

14:30 Lunch at the base camp.

15:30–17:00 Return to the hotel.

ATTENTION!

Snowmobile equipment can be used from the end of november. The ascent of Mount Camel will take place only if the weather is good and there is no snow on the top of the mountain.

In case of snow, climbing Mount Camel will be replaced with a walk in the vicinity of the base camp.

10:00 Transfer to Cape Mayachny. It is an observation deck with a beautiful view of the Three Brothers rocks, the waters of Avacha Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

The cape got its name back in the XIX century, because signal fires were lit at this convenient place, indicating to sailors the entrance to a safe bay. Then, in 1850, a lighthouse was built, which was periodically rebuilt, but still performs its functions to this day. His appearance made the name of the cape official.

Transfer to the tip of the cape, walk.

Picnic.

10:00 Transfer to the sled dog kennel.

11:00–14:30 A village in an ethnic style introduces you to the culture of the native Kamchatka people (Koryaks, Itelmens and others). It is situated in an open area with a picturesque view of the volcanoes. Here the guests will have an excursion around the dog kennel and learn the history of the dog sledding sport in Kamchatka, listen to the stories about Kamchatka natives, watch traditional dances and learn some of the dancing moves.

You can also take pictures in traditional costumes, learn about the Kamchatka natives’ lifestyle, taste hot fish soup (oukha) in the open air.

Lunch.

15:00 Transfer to the radon springs facility «Zelenovskie Ozerki». It is an establishment that provides pools and baths with radon and hydrogen sulfide containing water. Such water has an improving effect on our body, improves metabolism,stimulates skin regeneration.

15:30–16:30 Bathing in hot tubs, swimming pool.

16:30–17:30 Return to the hotel.

Optional tour: Helicopter flight to Geyser Valley & Uzon Caldera.

Transfer to the helicopter pad. Check-in, boarding. Departure for the Valley of Geysers, flight over the active volcanoes Karymsky and Maly Semyachik (flight time 1h 15 min). Landing in the Valley of Geysers. Excursion in the Valley (1.5 hour).

Flight to the Uzon caldera (flight time 5–7 min). Excursion in the caldera (1 hour). Flight to the Nalychevo Valley (flight time 25 min), boxed lunch, bathing in wild hot thermal springs. Return to the helicopter pad (flight time 35 min).

Optional tour: Helicopter flight to Kuril lake.

Transfer to the helicopter pad. Check-in, boarding. Flight to the Kurilskoye lake including landing in the Ksudach volcano caldera. Landing at the Kurilskoye lake(flight time 1h 10 min). Excursion to observe brown bears (1.5 hour). Lunch. Flight to the Khodutka hot springs, bathing in a wild thermal pool. Return to the helicopter pad.

Optional tour: Excursion to an ethnic center.

Transfer to the ethnic centre and sled dog kennel. Excursion around the kennel, Ethnic program, storytelling about the culture and lifestyle of Kamchatka natives. Native dances.

Lunch in traditional dwelling.

Return to the hotel.
